    Plaquenil caused me to go into menopause lupus I was just thinking about this SLE and menopause and reminding myself to ask my OB/GYN about the connection. I went in to what I believe is early menopause within a few months of SLE diagnosis and starting plaquenil. Thanks for posting - I had never heard of this
